विवरण: Compostable plastic straws are made from PLA or PHA. PLA is corn-based plastic, made from corn starch. PHA is also a plant based plastic, usually made from vegetable oils or sugar, or glucose. Compostable plastic straws are intended for composting in a commercial compost, and will not break down as intended in home compost.
